Dentist in Thousand Oaks - Meet Dr. Laura Bucci - Oakwood Dental
Dr. Laura Bucci is a native to California and grew up in the Conejo Valley. She was born and raised right here in Thousand Oaks, where she graduated from La Reina High School in 1996. She attended the University of San Diego where she received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry in 2000. Dr. Bucci received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Case Western Reserve University in 2005.
Following dental school, she attended a 2 year General Practice Residency at the VA Sepulveda Hospital where she received advanced training in implants, cosmetics, oral surgery, root canals, periodontics, and removable dentures. She has completed a year-long Cosmetic “Mini Residency” at the Esthetic Professionals facility located in Sherman Oaks, CA. She now has a thriving practice Oakwood Dental, located in her hometown of Thousand Oaks, CA.
Dr. Bucci specializes in Family, Cosmetic, and Implant Dentistry. Dr. Bucci and her staff members at Oakwood Dental spend many continuing education hours each year learning the latest technologies and advancements in dentistry to provide the highest quality dental care available. In her free time, Dr. Bucci enjoys skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and long walks with her husband. Having been born and raised in the Conejo Valley, Dr. Bucci feels a strong connection to her community and participates in numerous local fundraisers, auctions, and volunteer activities.
